AS Colour Staple Tee 5001

The AS Colour Staple Tee 5001 is one of the garments we print most often.

It is a men’s T-shirt made from 180gsm cotton and is available in a large and regularly changing colour range.

We have screen printed thousands of Staple Tees and receive repeat orders for them regularly. In our experience, they hold up well over repeated wear and washing.

The fabric also gives us a good surface for more complicated screen prints. We routinely print detailed and multi-colour artwork on the Staple Tee with strong results.

Another advantage is the colour selection. AS Colour regularly introduces contemporary colours, allowing customers to refresh their merchandise without changing to a different garment brand or fit.

For businesses, brands, clubs and merchandise ranges, the Staple Tee is one of the first AS Colour garments we normally consider.

AS Colour Maple Tee

The AS Colour Maple Tee is a women’s fitted T-shirt made from 180gsm cotton.

It is available in a broad range of colours and provides a very good surface for screen printing.

The women’s cut has a different shape from a standard unisex tee, including a slightly lower neckline and shorter sleeves.

We often recommend the Maple Tee when customers want a more traditionally feminine fit rather than simply supplying the same unisex T-shirt in smaller sizes.

The larger sizes remain flattering while retaining the characteristic fitted shape.

Which Branding Method Works Best on AS Colour?

AS Colour garments are particularly well suited to custom branding, but the best decoration method depends on the garment, artwork, quantity, budget and intended use.

This is where our experience with the range becomes useful.

We have decorated many different AS Colour styles and can recommend not only the printing method, but also the garment and colour combination most likely to suit the finished design.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is our preferred branding method for many AS Colour T-shirts, hoodies and other cotton garments.

The Staple Tee and similar styles provide particularly good surfaces for screen printing.

For company logos, a small left-chest screen print can produce a clean professional result and, depending on the artwork and garment, can offer excellent durability.

Screen printing is also particularly effective for larger quantities, bold artwork and merchandise designed for repeated wear.

DTF Printing

DTF printing can be useful for detailed, full-colour artwork and smaller quantities.

It can work particularly well for events, short merchandise runs and designs containing gradients or a large number of colours.

In some situations, a lower-cost AS Colour garment such as the Block Tee may make sense when the garment is intended for an event or shorter-term campaign rather than years of regular use.

Embroidery

We commonly recommend embroidery for AS Colour caps, jackets, polos and selected heavier garments.

Embroidery produces a premium appearance and can be particularly effective for corporate branding and merchandise where the finish of the logo is important.

Choosing the Right Method

There isn’t one decoration method that is best for every AS Colour garment.
